My friend and I were fishing on this lake mid summer 08'. Made a special trip just to fish this water. I had never been there before and I am always ready and willing to travel new ground in the name of fishing or adventure or just to do it...you know see what's around the next bend in the river sort of thing or what the view is like from atop that bluff. After about half an hour of fishing time my friend hooked a nice 18" walleye. We both thougt we found the "honey hole". To our dismay after fishing the entire lake and throwing everything in the tackle box at them that was the one and only walleye we caught that day. We fished twelve hours with a short lunch break. Fish count: walleye-1

It was well worth the time on the water with a good friend and seeing new country.
