Do you bathe along your trip in the BWCA? If so where and how.

On a longer trip, I'll heat

On a longer trip, I'll heat up some water and use a wash cloth to clean up some. It takes time, but after a few days in the same shirt, it shirt feels good. I'm sure on a nice day you could just take a dunk and then wash up on the shore. I guess the main concern is getting soap in the water, you don't want to pollute the water with soap, biodegradable or not.

Bathing

I have heard you can bathe in the water as long as you are a certain distance from the shore. I have talked to people that say they always bathe nude and sometimes when they are out of sight even canoe nude I didnt think that was allowed and was wondering if it is.

I haven't seen any dress

I haven't seen any dress code in the BWCA, just be careful you don't suddenly come upon an occupied campsite in the buff.

A few years ago we were canoeing along (fully dressed) and saw a campsite up a head with some campers that appeared to be skinny dipping. When we got closer, the campsite looked deserted. We figured they saw us and ran for cover.
